See how your dream experience matches those of the first 500 study participants.

The most common five negative dreams reported around the world were:

Being chased or attacked 80%
Falling or drowning 64%
Being lost or trapped  58%
Being naked or inappropriately dressed in public  52%
Being accidentally injured, ill or dying 48%

The next three most frequent dreams were:

Being in a natural or manmade disaster  42%
Having trouble taking a test or finding test room  40%
Having trouble with a car or other transport  38%

The least often reported negative Universal Dreams were:

Having a house or property damaged or lost  30%
Missing a boat or some other transportation  31%
Having trouble operating a telephone or machine  24%
Being menaced by a spirit  12%

Dreams of being chased or attacked were reported by most of the study participants (over 80 percent). The smallest category, dreams of being menaced by a spirit was only cited by about 12 percent of the participants, but these people regarded the dreams as extremely significant. The important point here is that a great number of people in various cultures share the same universal dream patterns. Since that is so, you can learn from others what these dreams usually signify in the dreamer's  lives and therefore, what they are likely to mean in yours.
